The 7th floor of the Hotel de las Letras, four-star hotel in a building erected in 1917 and classified as a historic asset of Madrid, is home to El Ático de las Letras restaurant, a Mediterranean garden with views of the oldest neighborhoods of the capital.
The Ático is one of the best places in the capital to sit back and take in the impressive skyline of Madrid. Its location plays on all the senses with an extraordinary urban landscape, varied cuisine and a garden with fragrant lemon trees, fig trees, wisterias, and hydrangeas. Music provided by a live DJ rounds out a perfect atmosphere to have fun in and unwind.

El Ático de las Letras’ menu, with three or four dishes each day, is in line with the cooking in the Hotel’s restaurant, Al Trapo, supervised by chef Paco Morales. It includes simple and varied offerings, a fun and easy menu that changes every day, showcooking in the evening and a menu of refreshing and sophisticated cocktails designed by house cocktail specialist Carles Roca.
This space, open to the public, has capacity for 90 people. The Ático can also be totally or partially rented out for weddings, birthdays, company events, or private gatherings.
